Eric Peter

Eric Peter is a seasoned professional in internal audit and compliance with extensive experience across various organizations in the insurance and finance sectors. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Internal Auditor for MSIG Asia since February 2020, Eric oversees the internal audit function for non-life insurance operations across the Asia Pacific region. In addition, Eric holds a position in the Group Global Internal Audit for MS&AD Insurance Group and is the Head of Internal Audit for MSIG Hong Kong, where responsibilities include compliance oversight and leadership of the local audit team. Previous roles include heading Global Compliance at Hyundai Card∙Life∙Capital∙Commercial, Senior Internal Audit Manager at AIA Singapore, and various compliance and internal audit positions at AIG and Aviva. Eric holds several professional qualifications, including a MICPA Professional qualification, Certified Fraud Examiner credentials, and a Bachelor of Accountancy (with Honours) from the University of Malaya.
