Alex Schmidt is a Mechanical Design Engineer at MSKTD & Associates since April 2023, previously serving as Detailing Team Lead at New Millennium Building Systems from August 2018 to April 2023. In this role, Alex managed two teams of detailers, focused on process improvement, and detailed and checked metal joist and deck drawings. Prior experience includes an internship as a Process/Industrial Engineering Intern at Kroger, where Alex collaborated with a senior engineer to address logistical challenges. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology, both obtained between 2014 and 2018.
