Rob Davis

Chief Digital Innovation Officer, US at MSL Group

Rob Davis has a diverse and extensive work experience in digital innovation, content marketing, and interactive TV. Rob is currently serving as the Chief Digital Innovation Officer at MSL (Global), where they are responsible for digital excellence and innovation across the company's client portfolio. Rob has also developed MSL's Digital Innovation Center of Excellence and co-leads the influencer pay equity initiative.

Prior to their current role, Rob worked at Ogilvy as the Head of Digital Innovation, where they founded THE CUBE, the agency's incubation and innovation shop. Rob also founded three new practices during their time at Ogilvy: Content Marketing, Editorial Studio, and Advanced Video. Additionally, Rob served as the Interactive Marketing Director for accounts such as DuPont, IBM, and Sears.

Rob's earlier experiences include working at Rainbow Media Networks as the Vice President of Digital, where they were responsible for transforming the company's digital properties into revenue centers. Rob also held positions at Gartner as an Executive Producer, overseeing the Internet side of Gartner EXP, and at Spiderdance as an Executive Producer, developing real-time gaming and interaction for TV programming.

Before that, Rob founded MTV Networks' first experimental interactive TV team and worked on various projects, including the creation of MTV's hit show webRIOT. Rob also served as the Content Manager at Gannett/New Jersey Press, leading editorial, technology, and creative development for a regional news and ISP business.

Rob's career began with freelance television production work. Overall, they have a broad range of experience in digital innovation, content creation, and strategic leadership across multiple industries.

Rob Davis completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communications/English at the University of Scranton from 1986 to 1990. Rob then pursued a Master's Degree in TV/Radio/Film at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University from 1992 to 1993.
