Catherine Baird, Ph.D.

Catherine Baird, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1999 with Verso Technologies (was Eltrax Systems, Inc.) as a Project Manager. In 2000, they moved to 180Commerce Inc. as a Project Director, where they secured a $5M RFP bid for a materials tracking solution and slashed freight costs by 90%. In 2002, they took on the role of Product Manager at Skyway Software, followed by CIO & COO at Insol in 2003, where they generated a 233% increase in shareholder value in 3 years. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Founder of From Pyramids to Clouds and Author of "Revolution from Within". In 2015, they joined 360 Smart Networks as COO / CISO and was responsible for P&L, operational leadership, and team enablement. Catherine also reorganized teams and restructured agreements to enable 25-30% profitability across all product lines. Lastly, in 2016, they became Co-Founder and CEO of MSP IT Partners. Catherine also holds an Adjunct Professor position at Georgia State University in the CIS - J. Mack Robinson College of Business.

Catherine Baird, Ph.D. has an extensive education history. Catherine earned their Ph.D. in History from McGill University in 1998, their M.A. in History from McGill University in 1992, and their B.Sc. in Specialist in Zoology and History Major from the University of Toronto in 1990. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including a Six Sigma Green Belt in 2011, a Certified Managed Services Professional from MSA Alliance in 2010, and a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, Inc. in 2008.
