Brian Hwang

Brian Hwang is a seasoned professional in commercial real estate finance, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Team Leader of CRE Underwriting at M&T Bank since September 2022. Previously, Brian held key roles at Lev as Director of Lender Relationships, where Brian contributed to the firm's growth by building the Lender Relationships team after a $30 million Series A raise. Brian has extensive experience at M&T Bank across various leadership positions, including Vice President and Assistant Vice President, following participation in the Executive Associate Leadership Development Program. Earlier career experiences include pivotal roles at Tungsten Partners as a Private Equity MBA Intern and at CBRE, where Brian appraised $1.3 billion in commercial real estate. Brian's educational background includes an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics, Spanish, and Real Estate from the University of Pennsylvania.
