Daryl Brooks has extensive experience in physical education and sports coaching, currently serving as a Middle School PE Teacher and Associate Middle School Athletic Director at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy since July 2014. Prior to this role, Daryl held positions at Mount Pisgah Christian School as a Physical Education Teacher and Baseball Coach from August 2003 to 2014 and served as the Sports Information Director at Georgia Perimeter College from 1997 to 2003. Daryl's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Oglethorpe University and a Master's degree in Sports Administration from Georgia State University.

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy is a Christ-centered, JK-12th, preparatory school located in Marietta, GA. The Academy was designated a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School. MBCA partners with families to provide an uncompromising education, grounded by an authentic Biblical worldview. Our approach to achieving this goal is described in our core beliefs: We believe that the Bible instructs us to do all things with excellence and purpose, as though we were doing them for God. At MBCA, we are unapologetic in our pursuit of academic excellence using the most effective curriculum and instructional techniques available and delivered always in the context of a thoroughly Christian worldview. We believe the Bible endows parents with primary responsibility for their children's education. Parents who choose to partner with our school delegate that authority to us but the Academy is not and can never be a substitute for active parental involvement. We believe in the power of MBCA as an evangelical outreach to our community. Students of any race, religion, etc. are eligible for acceptance, and all students will be encouraged to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We believe small class sizes are an effective means to encourage development and deepen understanding. We believe that quality teaching extends beyond ensuring our students master subject content. In order to succeed in competitive environments, our students are taught to think critically and apply their knowledge with reason and discernment.
