Alison Crowley is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at Oak Grove Middle School within the Mt. Diablo Unified School District since August 2020, Alison previously instructed 3rd graders at The Mission Preparatory School, demonstrating exceptional outcomes in literacy and math. Other teaching roles include positions as a Teacher Candidate in Portland Public Schools and Chapman Elementary School, focusing on culturally responsive environments and arts integration. Alison's professional development includes training in equity, trauma-informed practices, and dyslexia. With a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Portland State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Art Studio from Lewis & Clark College, Alison combines educational expertise with a strong foundation in the arts.
