Jessica Phillips

Jessica Phillips is an experienced special education administrator currently serving as Program Specialist and Principal of Robert Shearer Preschool at Mt. Diablo Unified School District since August 2022. With a strong background in special education, Jessica has held various roles including Special Day Class Support Teacher, Inclusion Specialist, and AT Specialist at Mount Diablo Unified from 2013 to 2022, and Director of Education at The Avalon Academy & Avalon Therapies from 2009 to 2013. Previous experience includes advisory teaching and assistive technology support at the Center for Micro-Assisted Communication (CENMAC), instructional coaching at NYC Special Schools - District 75, and special education teaching positions at Oakland Unified School District and Montgomery County Public Schools. Jessica holds an Administrative Services Credential and a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching, alongside certifications in Assistive Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Education.
