Geoff Marriner has extensive experience in mountain operations and grooming. Geoff began their career at Alpine Trucking in 2004 as an Excavating Foreman, where they worked until 2008. In 2004, they also started working at Vail Resorts as a Grooming Supervisor, overseeing night grooming operations and leading grooming operations for World Cup race surface preparation. Geoff stayed with Vail Resorts until 2015, during which time they took on the role of Assistant Grooming Manager from 2014 to 2015. In 2009, they worked as an Equipment Operator at Vail Resorts for a year. From 2015 to 2018, Marriner served as the Mountain Operations Manager at The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games. Currently, they are the Director of Mountain Operations at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort starting from November 2022.

Mount Hood Meadows is one of the largest ski resorts in Oregon and the largest ski resort on Mount Hood. It is located about 67 miles east of Portland, and 35 miles from Hood River along Oregon Route 35. It has both Alpine and Nordic ski areas and offers night skiing, lessons and equipment rentals.
