Barbara Schlangen has extensive experience in human resources and customer service, currently serving as Human Resources Supervisor at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort since October 2019, after holding roles as Lead HR Service Coordinator and Human Resources Coordinator. Prior to this, Barbara worked at pFriem Family Brewers as a Hostess and at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) as a Bartender. Barbara's background also includes a position as Membership Marketing Coordinator and Lead Camp Counselor with GREAT PLAINS FAMILY YMCA INCORPORATED. Earlier experience includes serving roles at Pecina's Mexican Cafe and Boomtown Grill. Barbara studied Pre-Veterinary Studies at Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 2015 to 2017.

Mount Hood Meadows is one of the largest ski resorts in Oregon and the largest ski resort on Mount Hood. It is located about 67 miles east of Portland, and 35 miles from Hood River along Oregon Route 35. It has both Alpine and Nordic ski areas and offers night skiing, lessons and equipment rentals.
