Ian McMeans

Ian McMeans is an accomplished municipal manager with extensive experience in operational leadership and urban planning. Currently serving as Assistant Manager/Planner for Mt. Lebanon Municipality since May 2016, Ian has previously held the position of Borough Manager for Homestead Borough, overseeing a staff of 45 and managing a $4.5 million budget. Additional roles include Assistant Borough Manager for the Borough of Dormont, where Ian contributed to budget development and various community events, and internships with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the Center for Economic Development at Carnegie Mellon University. Ian holds a Master's degree in Public Policy & Management focused on Urban Development from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Economics, and Writing from Allegheny College.
