Crystal Young

Crystal Young has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Crystal currently holds the position of Executive Director of College Relations at West Shore Community College, a role they began in June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of the Business Opportunity Center at the same institution starting in April 2015 until November 2022. In this role, Crystal was responsible for bridging connections between the college and stakeholders, facilitating trainings, workshops, and career placement.

Before joining West Shore Community College, Crystal worked as a Media Specialist at LakeFX Media from October 2013. At LakeFX Media, they brought honesty, integrity, and effectiveness to the marketing world in western Michigan. Prior to that, they were the Director of Media and Marketing at Mt. Mansfield Media, a non-traditional ad agency and production house.

Crystal's experience in education includes working as a Work Based Learning Coordinator at West Shore Education Service District from October 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they focused on helping students explore career and technical education opportunities.

Earlier in their career, Crystal held the position of Eastern Regional Sales Manager at Harris & Bruno International, a global provider of printing and coating solutions. Crystal was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and OEM accounts, facilitating technical meetings, and implementing streamlined communication processes. Crystal covered the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada in their sales territory.

Crystal's career in the printing industry started at KBA North America, where they worked as a Product Manager. In this role, they gained experience in product management, marketing, sales, and customer service.

Throughout their various roles, Crystal has acquired a solid foundation in different professional areas and industries, allowing their to bring a diverse skill set to their current position.

Crystal Young attended Ferris State University from 2002 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a focus on Printing.
