Claudia Jones

Claudia Jones is an experienced educator with a strong background in dual immersion and differentiated instruction. Currently serving as an Intervention Teacher/TOSA at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District since August 2018, Claudia previously worked as a Teacher for the Region 1 Migrant Education Program and Parent Specialist at the Santa Clara County Office of Education from July 2016 to June 2018. Claudia's extensive experience includes roles as an ELD Newcomer Teacher in Redwood City School District and a Dual Immersion Teacher in both Mountain View Whisman and Alvin Hatch Elementary Schools, focusing on curriculum planning and implementation for diverse learners. Claudia’s educational background includes a Master of Arts in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Diversified Liberal Arts with an emphasis on Bilingual Education from the University of San Diego.
