Kevin then worked as an Examiner at Monroe County from 2011 to 2012, conducting child protective investigations. Following that, they were a Caseworker at Monroe County from 2012 to 2013, where they conducted home and school visits and interviewed families, teachers, and medical personnel.

In 2013, Kevin took on the role of Legal Assistant at Relin, Goldstein & Crane LLP, assisting attorneys in foreclosure settlement conferences and providing updates to financial institution clients. Kevin also worked as a Financial Coordinator at Catholic Family Center, where they managed client funds per Social Security Administration standards.

From 2014 to 2017, Kevin worked as a Senior Claim Service Adjuster at Allstate, resolving complex, litigated casualty claims and negotiating settlements. Kevin then transitioned to the role of Vice President, RCC Tax & Insurance Servicer II in 2022, before becoming the Vice President, Senior Insurance Administrator/Team Leader in 2023.

Kevin Hylton, CPCU, holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the State University of New York at Oswego, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to attending college, Kevin attended Honeoye Falls-Lima Senior High School, where they did not receive a specific degree or field of study. In addition to their education, Kevin has obtained several certifications from The Institutes, including AINS, API, AIS, AIC-M, and CPCU, with the CPCU certification being awarded in June 2017. The specific months and years in which they obtained the other certifications are as follows: AINS in August 2018, API in April 2018, AIS in March 2018, and AIC-M in February 2018.
