Christian Jurvanen

Christian Jurvanen has extensive work experience in various roles within the digital solutions, agritech, and financial management sectors. Christian started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Helsinki in 1997. Christian then worked at the Agricultural Data Processing Centre as a Software Developer, Head of Software Development, Vice President (Head of Sales and Marketing), and CEO. During their tenure, they successfully implemented sales, marketing, and branding strategies, expanded the company's customer base, and fostered a positive work environment.

In 2010, Jurvanen joined ProEventus Oy as a Board Member, where they provided efficient and innovative financial management services. In 2016, they became the CEO of Mtech Digital Solutions, leading the company's digitalization efforts in the food ecosystem and agritech industry. Jurvanen played a vital role in developing IT ecosystems and information systems for various organizations in the sector.

In 2017, they became the Chairman of the Board at Biocode, a digital platform focused on reducing the climate impact of food products. Christian later took on the role of Vice Chairman of the Board. Additionally, Jurvanen served as a Board Member at Bisnes+ and Chairman of the Board at Neviso Oy.

Throughout their career, Christian Jurvanen has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a strong understanding of technology solutions in the agricultural industry.

Christian Jurvanen completed an MBA in General Management from Henley Business School between 2008 and 2012. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry and Information Technology from the University of Helsinki. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications such as the CBM (Certified Board Member) - Chairman course from Helsingin seudun kauppakamari - Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce in February 2020, and a Certificate of 'Lean Digitization Practitioner' from Triari in August 2019.
