Emma Tuovinen

Emma Tuovinen started their work experience in 2011 as a Technical Customer Service representative for TeliaSonera. Emma then worked as a Sales Clerk at Kodin Terra/Keskimaa in 2012 and as an International Student Tutor at the University of Jyväskylä in 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Resurs Bank. In 2014, they participated in a three-month professional exchange in Brazil as a Language Teacher at a local NGO. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Substitute Teacher in various schools in Helsinki. Starting in 2016, they became an English Teacher and a Portuguese and Spanish Teacher at the City of Helsinki. In 2018, they completed an IT Consultant Training program and started working as an IT Consultant at Academic Work. Emma is currently employed as a Full Stack Developer at Mtech Digital Solutions since December 2020.

Emma Tuovinen completed their high school education at Joroinen Upper Secondary School from 2003 to 2006. Emma then enrolled at Jyväskylä Open University from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature. Emma continued their studies at the University of Jyväskylä from 2009 to 2015, earning a Master's Degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education. In 2012, they engaged in an international exchange program at Youngstown State University, focusing on English and Spanish studies. Additionally, Emma obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master 1 from Scrum.org in October 2018.
