Andrew Choat

Andrew Choat is an experienced professional in security and infrastructure management, currently serving as the Head of Security and Infrastructure at MTF Finance since February 2023. Previously, Andrew held roles at Fidelity Life Assurance Company Limited, including Information Security Engineering Manager and Technology Lead - Security, focusing on achieving ISO 27001 compliance and supporting strategic technology goals. Prior experiences encompass various positions in IT and network administration, including Platform Lead at Suncorp Group, Systems Integrator at Flight Centre Travel Group, and Network Administrator at Transfield Services NZ Ltd. Andrew also took career breaks to pursue maritime interests, earning a Higher National Diploma in Maritime Studies from Manukau Institute of Technology, and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
