Gareth Munro

Gareth Munro is the Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at MTG, a company specializing in the manufacture, supply, and support of premium quality ground engaging tools for the mining industry since September 2023. Prior to this role, Gareth Munro held various positions at Weir Minerals Australia Ltd. from March 2006 to September 2023, including General Manager Sales - West, General Manager Products West, and Territory Manager, among others. Gareth Munro began a career in the mining sector as a Project Engineer at Byrnecut Mining from 2003 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mining and Mineral Engineering, both obtained from Curtin University.
