Oluwadamilola Sonaike

Oluwadamilola Sonaike has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. They started their career as a Graduate Trainee at Genesis Computer Systems, where they gained experience in diagnosing and resolving operating system, hardware, and software issues. They then moved on to work as a Digital Marketing Intern at Rhino Digital Media, Inc., where they developed strategies and executed media projects to enhance brand awareness.

Following this, Oluwadamilola worked as an IT support at Andela, where they administered and managed MacOS systems and resolved operating system, hardware, and software problems. They later worked as a Python Developer at StartNg, where they built applications, published them on Pypi, and reviewed Python code.

They also had an internship experience at HNG Internship, where they worked as a Back End Developer and developed user-friendly website interfaces and responsive web page applications.

Oluwadamilola's most recent experience includes working at MTN BENIN as an IT System Specialist and Infrastructure Engineer, where they managed UNIX servers, performed upgrades to Linux operating systems, resolved technical issues, and provided remote support for production servers. They also worked as an IT Systems & Infrastructure Engineer at Jumia Nigeria before joining MTN BENIN again as a Lead - Senior Linux Systems and Infrastructure Engineer.

Oluwadamilola Sonaike completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Computer Science at the University of Lagos from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Physics: Electronics and IT Applications from Covenant University from 2011 to 2015. Oluwadamilola Sonaike also has additional certifications, including Linux Professional Institute (LPIC-1) from the Linux Professional Institute, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft, Introduction to Cybersecurity from Cisco, and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1 and Level 2: Certified Associate from Fortinet, obtained in various years.
