Derick Atem AKANGWA has a diverse background in quality assurance, testing, and software engineering. In this role, they conducted test analysis and design, led static testing reviews, and championed functional testing using open-source test management tools. Derick Atem also served as a quality assurance and testing professional intern, where they tested MTNC solutions to meet business requirements and reported defects using defect tracking tools.

Derick also has experience as a founder/CEO and software engineer at Next Digits from 2017 to 2020, where they developed software and led the company as its chief executive officer. Derick Atem was also a data analyst and DevOps engineering intern at Wouri Academy in 2016.

In addition, Derick worked as a CTO/software engineer at New Generation Technologies, LLC from 2015 to 2016.
