Collins Sarmento

Collins Sarmento has over 14 years of work experience, beginning in 2004. In 2004, they co-owned SHC Lawncare, where they organized and supervised six employees, maintained multiple yards bi-weekly, and worked with realtors and maintained yards for their listings. In 2005, they worked as a cook at Ruby Tuesday, and as a summer help at OmniSource Corporation, where they helped implement RIMAS Management and Accounting software to employees, used proficient Spanish to implement to Hispanic employees, and introduced the use of computers in the warehouse to keep up with inventory. In 2012, they worked as an instructor at Tiny Techz, a computer technician intern at College PC Geeks, a technician at Tekk Solutions, and a software integration and support technician and front end developer/UX/UI at Softdocs. Since 2016, they have been working at Initium SoftWorks LLC (ISW) as a Principal, Director of IDC and Process Automation, an IDC Solutions Manager, a Solutions Architect, and an ECM Systems Consultant.

Collins Sarmento received an Associate of Applied Science in Computer Technology: Web Programming from Midlands Technical College from 2012 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended the University of South Carolina from 2008 to 2012, studying Computer Information Systems. Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications from ABBYY, Hyland, Sumo Logic, and ElectroNeek.
