Marius Weichselbaumer

Marius Weichselbaumer is an experienced project manager and engineer in the aerospace industry, currently serving as a Project Manager Testing at MTU Aero Engines since January 2019. Marius leads testing for an aeromechanical compression system demonstrator and previously managed aerodynamical low pressure turbine rigs. Prior experience at Rolls-Royce from November 2010 to December 2018 included roles as Deputy Team Lead for rig engineering and test management, as well as project engineer for various turbine and compressor rigs, contributing to research, development, and certification processes. Marius has a strong background in planning and executing complex demonstrator projects, customer and stakeholder management, and integrating international supply chains. Marius holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt, obtained in 2007.
