Cobus van Schalkwyk

Cobus van Schalkwyk is an experienced professional in the power solutions industry, currently serving as the Director of Global Mining at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG since March 2022 and as the Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Solutions Africa (Pty) Ltd since May 2019. Prior to these roles, Cobus held positions at Barloworld Equipment as the Head of Power Solutions and as Operations Manager at Barloworld Power, overseeing electric power and onshore oil and gas operations. Cobus also contributed to ACTOM (Pty) Ltd as General Sales & Contracts Manager and Chief Engineer, following a tenure at ALSTOM as an Electrical Engineer. Cobus van Schalkwyk holds a B. Eng in Electrical Engineering from North-West University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management from UNISA.
