Lei Berners-Wu

Lei Berners-Wu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Most recently, Lei has been the Head of Global Industry Business at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG since July 2021. Prior to that, Lei was the Business Unit Head for Wires and Cables at Coroplast Fritz Müller GmbH & Co. KG from August 2019 to July 2021. Lei's tenure at Bosch from 2006 to 2019 included various positions such as Head of Sales, Marketing and Consulting for Greater China, Global Coordinator for Industry 4.0, and Group Manager for customer project management in the eMobility division. Additionally, Lei has experience as a Technical Key Account/Project Manager in Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) and has completed the Junior Managers Program in Research and Development.

Lei Berners-Wu began their education at the Affiliated Middle School of South China Normal University (HuaFu) from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Diploma in Senior High School. Lei then attended Sun Yat-sen University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Mathematics. Continuing their academic journey, Lei pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics at UC San Diego from 2001 to 2006. In 2022, they participated in the Strategic Leadership Programme at the London Business School, focusing on Executive Leadership at Rolls Royce.
