Jon Sticklen

Jon Sticklen serves as an Associate Professor and Past Chairperson at Michigan Technological University since August 2014, also holding the position of Chairperson for the Engineering Fundamentals Department. Prior to this, Jon Sticklen was affiliated with Michigan State University from August 1987 to August 2014, where roles included Director of the Applied Engineering Sciences major and Director of the Center for Engineering Education Research. Jon Sticklen has extensive experience in teaching and research in AI and Knowledge-based Systems, starting as an Assistant Professor and progressing to Associate Professor. Jon Sticklen's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Astronomy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The Ohio State University, where education was completed between 1962 and 1987.
