Kyle Griffin

Kyle Griffin is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological University, where responsibilities include teaching courses in Material & Energy Balances, Chemical Process Thermodynamics, and Chemical Process Control since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kyle served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from August 2016 to August 2022, focusing on kinetic modeling, anaerobic digestion, and bio-based polymer analysis. Additionally, Kyle worked as a Training Supervisor for University of Florida Academic Technology, overseeing training for technology consultants and updating training materials from January 2015 to October 2020. An Engineering Intern at James Hardie Building Products in 2014, Kyle performed plant operator duties and contributed to chemical process design. Kyle holds a Ph.D. in Biological/Biosystems Engineering and a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, both from the University of Florida.
