Tan Chen

Tan Chen currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University, focusing on robotics and applied control within the Robotics, Locomotion, and Applied Control Lab (RoLAC). Prior to this role, Tan Chen served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, where work centered on bipedal robots and nonlinear control. Additional experience includes research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on active protection for industrial robots and earlier roles in technical support and software engineering.
