Kumar Ashutosh

Kumar Ashutosh is a Decision Scientist IV at Mu Sigma Inc., specializing in sales and operation planning and sentiment analysis for a Fortune-260 Saudi petrochemical company. Since September 2022, Kumar has developed an end-to-end machine learning pipeline for demand forecasting, significantly improving accuracy benchmarks. Previously, Kumar served as a Python & ML Trainer, imparting knowledge to both Mu Sigma and Christ University students, and progressed through various levels at Mu Sigma, handling projects on sales price prediction and demand forecasting. Prior experience includes roles at Annalect India, The Sparks Foundation, and Unacademy, alongside engineering positions at SRM TEAM ROBOCON and SRM Team WelkinSAT. Kumar holds a Postgraduate Degree in Data Science and Engineering from Great Lakes Institute of Management and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
