Phoenix Red began their career in 2004 as a Talent Scout for Affinity Talent. In 2008, they moved on to Interscope Records as a Marketing Consultant. In 2010, they became a Creative Consultant for Knockout Entertainment. In 2012, they were an A&R for Rukus Avenue Music Label. From 2015 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Universal Music Group TBG Republic, including Head of A&R, Producer/ A&R, and Music Publishing Coordinator/ A&R, where they handled A&R & Publishing for the label and oversaw music projects from inception to distribution. In 2020, they founded Creator-Sync and became an A&R for reMIX Republic.

Phoenix Red obtained a GED from Granada Hills Charter in 2003, followed by a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Marketing from California State University, Northridge in 2008. Additionally, Phoenix Red holds a certification in Music Production.
