Fuad Shatara

Fuad Shatara is a seasoned senior talent leader with extensive experience in human capital management, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Talent at Mubadala, a Government of Abu Dhabi-owned sovereign wealth fund since May 2009. In this role, Fuad oversees workforce strategy, succession planning, and organizational change while leading the development of a three-year Talent Strategy. Previously, as Vice President of Human Capital Business Partner, Fuad implemented change management and cultural transformation initiatives for Mubadala portfolio companies. Fuad's career began with roles in strategy, operations, and learning at various Mubadala entities, along with experiences at G.U.S. Distributors, Inc., Prentice Hall, and the Florida House of Representatives. Fuad holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from Florida State University, an intensive Arabic language degree from The American University in Cairo, and a Global Executive Master of Business Administration from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
