Kumar Venkateswaran

Kumar Venkateswaran, CFA, currently serves as Director of Mubadala Capital Solutions since August 2021, focusing on high conviction investments across private equity, late-stage growth companies, publicly listed equities, and credit. Prior to this role, Kumar held the position of Head of Americas - Equity Opportunities at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where leadership in sourcing and executing concentrated investments in the Americas resulted in performance that surpassed return targets. Earlier experience includes managing an opportunistic investment strategy at Avakasham Capital, and serving as a Portfolio Manager for Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs. Kumar's career began at Microsoft as a Software Engineer and included consulting work at Accenture. Academic credentials include an MBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
