Sebastiaan de Rooij

Sebastiaan de Rooij is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in various senior roles across multinational organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of the Tax Group at Mubadala since November 2021, Sebastiaan has previously held significant positions, including Senior Manager of Tax and SPV at the State General Reserve Fund and Senior International Tax Manager at DSM. Earlier career highlights include leading the Tax Department at Redevco B.V., managing regional tax matters for COFRA Asia Ltd., and overseeing tax responsibilities at Cofra Amsterdam BV. Sebastiaan started their professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where expertise in international tax and structured products was developed. Academic credentials consist of a Master's degree in International Tax from Leiden University and completion of the COFRA Leadership course at IMD.
