Sebastian Schmitz

Sebastian Schmitz is a seasoned professional in the fields of engineering and automotive technology, currently serving as Director, Deputy Head at the Automotive Center Europe of Toray Industries Europe GmbH since January 2019. With a strong background in research and development, Sebastian holds dual roles as Development Manager and Head of Research and Development at Mubea Carbo Tech GmbH since 2011. Previous experience includes positions as Production Manager at Premier Composite Technologies in Dubai and Desalt Innovation Middle East LLC, as well as Senior Project Manager at Fraunhofer IPT. Sebastian began an academic trajectory at RWTH Aachen University, culminating in a Dr. in Engineering and a Dipl.-Ing. in Aeronautical Engineering.
