Ben Roberts

Ben Roberts is the current Head of Finance at Much Better Adventures. Prior to this, they were a Compliance Manager at BMG from June 2016 to May 2018, where they were responsible for system improvements and ensuring best practice was cascaded down the business. Before that, they were a Financial Accountant at Rexel UK Ltd from November 2014 to June 2016, where they were responsible for account consolidation and compliance and project work during the mid-month periods. Ben was made redundant when the company relocated their business. From August 2011 to November 2014, they were a Senior Auditor at Rayner Essex, where they predominantly worked in teams of two at clients' premises in mid-tier businesses. Ben also did additional work in the business services, taxation and payroll departments within the firm. Their role split was 60% audit, 35% accounts, and 5% tax. From September 2010 to February 2011, they were a Financial Analyst at Santander UK Corporate & Commercial.

Ben Roberts has a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from Durham University and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Bath. Ben is also certified from ICAEW in ACA.

Ben Roberts reports to Alex Narracott, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Jo Fairweather - Head of Content, Guy Bowden - Founder & CTO, and Rory Donovan - Head of Customer Experience. and Adam Robins - Finance Manager reports to Ben Roberts.
