Eugenia Cortés started their work experience in 2003 at Maxi's Rest as an A&B employee, where they worked until 2005. In 2006, they joined The Stars Group as an HR Specialist and remained in that role until 2019. In 2021, they joined MuchBetter as a Customer Operations Executive and is currently in that position.

Eugenia Cortés completed their education at three different institutions. In 2008, they attended the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) and studied Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, graduating in 2009. In 2014, they briefly enrolled at UCR again, focusing on Labour Law. Lastly, in 2016 and 2017, they studied at Aden Business School and obtained a degree in Circulo de Capital Humano, specializing in Human Talent/Development.
