Kirk Gustafson

Kirk Gustafson has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience (UX) design. Kirk is currently working at Muck Rack as a Director of UX since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at EmployBridge as a Director of UX from 2020 to 2022, where they established the company's first internal UX team and conducted research to improve the candidate application process.

Before EmployBridge, Kirk held the position of Product Design Director at Shiftgig from 2019 to 2020, where they led the design of the Deploy platform and enhanced the design system. Kirk also worked at Uptake as a Senior Manager of UX Design from 2017 to 2019, leading a team to develop a SaaS product for analyzing industrial asset data.

Kirk's earlier experiences include working as a User Experience Director at Critical Mass and as a Creative Director of Experience Design at SapientNitro. Kirk also worked as an Associate Creative Director of Interactive at Lipman Hearne and as a Designer at Gerhardt & Clemons. Throughout their career, Kirk has contributed to various projects and teams in roles that involve strategy, user research, design, and team management.

Kirk Gustafson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from Millikin University. Kirk also obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology.
