Mlis Rashad Starr

Rashad S. currently serves as a Senior Media Research Specialist at Muck Rack since January 2021, leading database management within the Editorial department and overseeing the training of international research teams to enhance global media monitoring. Prior experience includes a role as a Media Research Specialist at Muck Rack, where extensive research inquiries were handled and media research projects developed. Rashad also worked as a Library Technical Assistant at Georgia State University, and as an Editorial Research Intern at CNN, focusing on research for news staff. Additional positions held include Library Assistant roles at Southern Crescent Technical College and Flint River Regional Library. Rashad holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor of Science in Information & Library Science from the University of Maine at Augusta.
