Lauren Appleyard

Lauren Appleyard is an experienced professional in the hospitality and distilling industries, currently serving as Operations Controller at Muckle Brig Ltd since April 2023. Previously, Lauren held the position of Assistant Distiller/Bottling Supervisor at Lind & Lime Gin from May 2022 to April 2023 and worked as a Distiller at 1881 Distillery & Gin School from May 2021 to May 2022, where Lauren also completed a Trainee Distiller role. Prior to transitioning into the distilling field, Lauren gained valuable experience in hospitality as Assistant Manager at GBL HOSPITALITY LIMITED and as Assistant Restaurant Manager and Conference and Banqueting Supervisor at Handpicked Hotels from 2015 to 2020. Educationally, Lauren obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from The University of Edinburgh from 2013 to 2017 and completed high school at Broxburn Academy from 2007 to 2013.
