Carrie Distler

Carrie Distler has a strong background in learning and development. Carrie is currently the Director of Learning and Development at Mud Bay since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Learning and Development Manager (Director) at HNN Communities/DevCo Management Company from June 2020 to March 2022. Carrie also has experience as a National Learning and Development Trainer at Weidner Apartment Homes from February 2019 to June 2020, where they played a key role in converting traditional learning into virtual media during the COVID-19 pandemic and led training needs analyses. Before that, they worked as a Corporate Training Manager-Risk Management at Enterprise Holdings from January 2011 to January 2019, and as a Lead Certified Designated Trainer at Red Robin from January 2007 to April 2011. Throughout their career, Carrie has demonstrated expertise in talent development, instructional design, and creating engaging training materials. Carrie stays up to date with industry trends and continuously strives to improve job performance and talent development operations.

Carrie Distler holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from McKendree University. Carrie also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the same institution, with a focus on sociology, psychology, and social work. Additionally, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Studies at Southwestern Illinois College and another Associate of Arts (AA) degree in General Education at Canterbury Christ Church University.
