Joseph Surgeon

Joseph Surgeon is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and systems analysis. At ViaSat since August 2015, Joseph has been developing the ViaSat Network Planning Tool (VNPT) for satellite UHF communications and has expertise in front-end technologies such as AngularJS, Karma, and NodeJS. Concurrently, since July 2012, Joseph has held multiple roles at Mueller Industries, including Senior .NET Programmer/Analyst and Senior .NET Software Engineer, where responsibilities included designing a SharePoint Multi Server Farm and developing custom SharePoint solutions. Previous positions include Chief Executive Officer at So Stoked Cali LLC and Software Development Manager at Independent Bank, where custom operational applications were developed. Additional experience spans roles in logistics, technical engineering, and systems administration, showcasing a robust background in both development and IT support. Joseph is pursuing a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Memphis.
