Richard Avis

Richard Avis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product innovation and management within the sporting goods industry. Currently serving as the Innovation Charter Manager at Mueller Sports Medicine since October 2015, Richard has previously held significant roles such as Director of Goalkeeping at Chicago Fire Juniors and Global Marketing Director at McDavid, Inc., where innovative product launches were initiated. Richard founded BrainThrust, providing expert consulting in brand development, and contributed to research advancements in ball architecture at Nike. With a strong foundation in product management at Nike, adidas, and Umbro, as well as early experience in retail and athletic training, Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with an emphasis on Sports Medicine from Western Michigan University.
