Yubo Pei

Yubo Pei has extensive work experience in firmware engineering, specializing in the development of various technologies such as wireless communication, load control systems, and intelligent thermostats. They started their career at BEIHANG WEIBU Reliability Tech. Center as a Software/Electrical Engineer, where they designed and developed navigation computers and GPS/inertial integrated navigation systems. They then worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Research Assistant, focusing on spread spectrum wireless modems and multimedia communication systems. Following that, they joined Symbol Tech as a Software Engineer II, troubleshooting wireless network issues. Yubo then served as a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Aclara, where they led the development of transponders for automatic metering equipment, electric meters, and load control transponders. They later joined Telular Corporation as a Sr. Firmware Engineer, working on wireless alarm security monitoring devices and message center development. Yubo then worked at Itron, Inc. as a Principal Firmware Engineer, where they contributed to the development of mesh networks, load control switches, and intelligent thermostat communication modules. Currently, Yubo holds the position of Principal Firmware Engineer at Mueller Water Products, focusing on firmware development for water meter AMI/AMR systems.

Yubo Pei has a strong educational background in electrical engineering. They obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in EE from Beijing University of Aeronautics & Astronautics in 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Control, Signal Processing at Beijing University of Aeronaotics & Astronautics from 1994 to 1997. Finally, they completed their higher education by earning a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000.
