Academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree earned at the University of Minnesota Law School from 2000 to 2003, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota obtained in 1999, and earlier studies at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1993.
