Tung Nguyen

Tung Nguyen is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in application security and software engineering. Currently, as Vice President of Application Security at Union Bank since 2002, Tung Nguyen leverages programming expertise to identify security vulnerabilities in application code. Previously, as Vice President and Lead Software Engineer, leadership skills were demonstrated by managing a team of 15 developers and successfully launching Union Bank's mobile banking application, impacting over 700,000 users. Additional experience includes roles as a Staff Engineer at Leap Wireless International, Inc., and as a Senior Software Engineer at Neopoint, Inc., where Tung Nguyen was a founding developer of the myAladdin.com wireless data portal. Early career experience includes bioinformatics programming at Cadus Pharmaceutical Corporation. Tung Nguyen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Marist College, a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University at Buffalo, and an Associate of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Dutchess Community College.
