Esther Woo

Esther Woo is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as the Director and Head of Legal Operations for EMEA at MUFG since October 2022. Prior to this role, Esther Woo was with Ashurst from March 2015 to July 2022, where responsibilities included Head of Legal Services Transformation and Senior Executive Officer to the Chief Financial Officer. Additional experience includes serving as an independent consultant in strategic planning and organizational development, interim Chief Operating Officer at INCLUDED, and Legal Counsel for the China and Mongolia regions at the International Finance Corporation. Earlier in the career, Esther Woo held positions as Senior Associate at Allen & Overy and Assistant Solicitor at CMS Cameron McKenna. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Certificate from the College of Law (York) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with honors from the University of Leeds.
