Klemens Loeffler

Klemens Loeffler is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit trading across Asia and the APAC region. Currently serving as the Head of Credit Trading Asia at MUFG since October 2025, Klemens has previously held notable positions including Head of Credit Trading APAC at Crédit Agricole CIB and HSBC, where leadership of teams in various countries resulted in significant market presence and high franchise rankings. Klemens has a proven track record of managing large teams, optimizing trading operations, and achieving substantial increases in turnover and client penetration. Prior experience includes roles at UBS and DEPFA Bank plc, focusing on local rates and credit trading as well as risk management. Klemens holds multiple degrees in business administration and finance from esteemed institutions, including Portland State University and the University of Hohenheim.
