Leanne Schaefer

Leanne Schaefer is an experienced learning and training professional with a strong background in developing and delivering training solutions within various organizational contexts. Currently serving as Director of the Operations Learning Team at MUFG in the Americas since May 2016, Leanne creates behavior-oriented technical learning outcomes for global Operations employees and provides leadership to a team of learning professionals. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director of Global Sales Learning at Yahoo, where support was provided to 2100 sales representatives across 10 countries, with a focus on onboarding and skill mastery, specifically in the APAC and LatAm regions. Earlier career roles include Training Manager at AmeriCold Logistics, where a startup training organization was established for 5500 associates, and Manager of Service Training and Delivery at Norrell Corporation, overseeing training for corporate and franchise offices across the U.S. and Canada. Leanne holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Boston University.
