Brendan Gleeson is the Head of Properties and Facilities at Muiriosa Foundation Ltd since January 2023. Prior to this role, Brendan was the Facilities Manager at Offaly County Council from February 2017 to December 2022. With a background in electrical engineering, Brendan has also worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at various companies including Homan O'Brien Associates, WSP in the Middle East, and Hoare Lea. Brendan started their career as an Electrician at Flynn Electrical and holds a BEngTech in Electrical Services Engineering from Technological University Dublin. Additionally, Brendan has certifications in Auto-Cad 2D and the European Computer Driving License.

Muiríosa Foundation
Muíriosa Foundation supports individuals (and their families) with an intellectual disability and/or autism to live self-directed, connected and fulfilling lives. Currently we employ over 1,100 staff and operate across nine counties – Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kildare, Tipperary, Kilkenny and Wicklow. Our headquarters are at Moore Abbey, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare. Currently our services are divided into five regions, each led by a Regional Director. The regions exercise a high level of devolved autonomy across all major operational functions. Muiríosa Foundation provide services on behalf of the Health Service Executive (HSE). HSE are our principal funders. The services linked to HSE funding are set out in an annual service-level agreement.
