Liron Cohen

Liron Cohen is a Technical Lead/Manager at Mujin since June 2023, overseeing the development of motion planning and scheduling systems for autonomous fleet management and supporting algorithmic development for a Warehouse Execution System. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Engineer at Waymo from September 2020 to May 2023 on the planner team, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California's AI lab from 2012 to 2020. Liron has also interned as a Software Engineer at Google focusing on self-driving cars, taught as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in artificial intelligence at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Azrieli College of Engineering, and worked as a Hardware Engineer at Intel Corporation. Liron's educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and both an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, respectively, from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Liron served in the Israeli Defense Forces Air Force from 2000 to 2003.
