Robert Laurie

Robert Laurie is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Asset Management at Mulilo since October 2025. Previously, Robert held the position of Asset Owner at Voltalia from June 2023 to September 2025, overseeing new and operating independent power producer projects. Robert's experience also includes roles as Deputy Project Manager in the EPC business line and Project Manager for significant solar PV projects at EDF Power Solutions South Africa between August 2021 and May 2023. Earlier positions at Sener involved roles as a Performance Engineer and Graduate Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities included performance tracking and compliance management at Kathu Solar Park CSP Plant. Robert holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, as well as a High School Diploma from Windhoek Gymnasium.
